NBA: Media: Bucks meet Hammon for interview

The Milwaukee Bucks are still looking for a new head coach. According to a report by ESPN, they now also want to receive Becky Hammon, currently Assistant Coach at the San Antonio Spurs, for an interview.

Hammon could be the first woman head coach in the NBA. She may not be considered a favourite in the search, which according to the report contains over ten coaches, but Bucks-GM Jon Horst has at least expressed interest and therefore asked the Spurs for permission to speak with Hammon.

The Bucks had also met with Hammon last year to discuss the GM position, although the latter had no experience in the front office. Eventually, the post went to Horst.

Milwaukee will meet Saturday with Ettore Messina, also Assistant Coach of Spurs, and meetings with Steve Clifford and Monty Williams will be held next week. Mike Budenholzer is also considered a candidate for the Bucks.
