Today, Germany will meet the USA at the Ice Hockey World Championship (4.15 pm in the LIVETICKER). After two defeats in their last two matches against Denmark and Norway, Germany will go into the match as a clear outsider. SPOX has all the important information for you.
In order to realise their dream of reaching the quarter-finals, Germany have to beat the supposedly small ice hockey nations, but that didn’t work out at the start of the two bankruptcies after Penalty Shots against Denmark and Norway. Now it is clear that they will have to win against South Korea and Latvia, and the team of national coach Marco Sturm also needs a surprise against the USA, Finland or Canada.
The game will take place on Monday, 7 May at 16.15 in Herning (Denmark).
The match will be broadcast by the DAZN streaming service just like any other game of the World Ice Hockey Championship. In addition to ice hockey, DAZN also shows other sports such as basketball, US sports, tennis, darts and the matches of the European football leagues.
There is a charge for the livestream. A subscription costs 9,99 Euro per month. The first month is free of charge.
The match between the DEB team and the USA on Sport1 can be seen on Free TV.
