NFL: Eagles: Wentz confident for comeback in Week 1

Quarterback Carson Wentz has made a comeback for the Philadelphia Eagles in NFL Week 1. Wentz told Good Morning Football of the NFL Network that he is currently on track to achieve this goal in his rehab.

“My rehab is going very well. Of course she’s no fun. It is a hard process and can sometimes be painful,” Wentz said. “But so far I’m on schedule and confident. My goal is to be ready for Week 1.”

Wentz also commented on the criticism that he was taking too many unnecessary hits: “Of course I am constantly learning and making adjustments. But I’m not going to completely change my aggressive game.”

Wentz was confident that “I will return stronger than I ever was. “Missing the playoffs and the Super Bowl gives me an extra motivation.”

Wentz suffered a cruciate ligament rupture when the Eagles beat the Los Angeles Rams in December and was not on the field for the Super Bowl win.
