The Boston Celtics missed their first match point in game 4 against the Philadelphia 76ers, the series is now 3-1 and goes back to Boston. For Forward Marcus Morris the fifth game can’t come fast enough.
Morris clashed with Sixers Center Joel Embiid in game 4 and was annoyed by the Cameroonian’s trash talk afterwards: “Shit, I’m ready now (for Game 5),” says Morris. “You had a lot to say. They took a win. But we also did our job and took an away win. So we’re gonna go home at 3-1 and hopefully end this.”
Morris had shown Embiid the number three for the Celtics’ victories several times in the game, which he subsequently explained: “This is reality. It’s hard because I know I wouldn’t say a fucking word if I was 1-3 behind. But we’re all different, that’s the way it is.”
Embiid had already clashed with Celtics-Guard Terry Rozier in the game, both players got a technical for it. The center said afterwards: “He tried to beat me twice. Too bad it’s too small to reach my face.”
Game 5 of the series takes place on Thursday night in Boston (live on DAZN). The winner of the series will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Conference Finals.
