Ice Hockey World Championship: Germany v Canada live on TV and live stream today

At today’s Ice Hockey World Championship (15 May), Germany will meet 26-time World Champion Canada. As Germany have no chance of reaching the knockout stages, this will also be the last German match at this World Cup. SPOX gives you the most important information and shows you how and where you can follow the game on TV, live stream and live ticker.

As the relegation to Division A is no longer possible for Germany either, the DEB team only has to say goodbye to the tournament. Canada’s entry into the quarter-finals is certain, but for them it’s still a matter of a good group position.

The game between Germany and Canada takes place today, Tuesday 15 May, and starts at 4.15 pm. As in all games of the German Group B, the venue will be Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning, Denmark.

Like all games of the Ice Hockey World Championship, the streaming service DAZN will also broadcast the match between Germany and Canada. Christoph Stadtler will comment on the game, while Harry Birk supports him as an expert.

DAZN costs 9,99 Euro per month, whereby the first month is free. In addition to the World Cup, DAZN also broadcasts numerous NHL matches as well as NBA, NFL and MLB games. The “Netflix des Sports” also features all the top European football leagues in its programme.

The sports channel Sport1 will also broadcast the game.

If you can’t watch live pictures of the game, SPOX also offers you a live ticker.

With only two victories over South Korea and Finland in the six games to date, Germany have no chance to advance to the quarter-finals.

After the sensational Olympic Silver Medal, the DEB team is now denied the second great success of the year.

Canada have already made it into the quarter-finals. But now it’s all about securing a good starting position for the quarter-finals. A win would give the North Americans a good chance of taking second place, as runners-up Finland will have to beat the undefeated Americans.

Should Canada win the tournament and secure the 27th title, the nation would equal Russia as record world champion.
