NBA: Are there differences between the Timberwolves and Towns?

Is Karl-Anthony Towns dissatisfied with the Minnesota Timberwolves? Insider Zach Lowe indicated in his podcast that there are differences between the star and the franchise. Interlocutor Brian Windhorst also fired this rumour.

Towns and the franchise “are not on the same internal wavelength,” said Zach Lowe of ESPN in his podcast Lowe Post. ESPN’s Brian Windhorst also explained that he would not be shocked if the name of Towns came up in trade talks during the off-season.

“I don’t think Anthony Davis will be available anytime soon, but Karl Towns… that may be a completely different story.”

Towns was selected number one in the draft by the Wolves in 2015 and led the playoffs for the first time since 2004 with Jimmy Butler and Andrew Wiggins Minnesota. In the first round, however, the Wolves lost to Houston Rockets in five games.

Disruptions are said to have occurred in Minnesota before. Wiggins was reportedly dissatisfied with his role as the third option behind All-Stars Towns and Butler. The wingman, however, signed his rookie extension before the start of the season, which will earn him 146 million dollars over the next four years.
