The Golden State Warriors suffered a bitter defeat against the Houston Rockets in game 2. Nevertheless, there is optimism in the Dubs camp. The hotter the situation, the better the warriors, say the Dubs players.
“I think we’re best when we’re threatened,” Green said before game 3, “In game 1 we felt that way and played with concentration. We didn’t have that in game two. You allow yourself that once in a series, we had that game now. “I think it’s time to take a completely focused approach to the rest of the show.”
Klay Thompson also took the same line. “We may not have our backs to the wall, but we are vulnerable. In these cases, we just play more focused and with more commitment.” The Shooting Guard also guaranteed a better performance than in game 2, when he only scored 8 points.
So it’s optimism in the Warriors’ camp, head coach Steve Kerr once again underlined. “We’ll see a great game and we’re confident we’ll play much better.”
The Warriors are unbeaten (15-0) in their home Oracle Arena since game 7 of the 2016 finals. Game 3 takes place on the night from Sunday to Monday at 2am (live on SPOX).
