NFL: J.J. Watt pays for funerals of Santa Fe amok victims

Defensive End J.J. Watt will bear the cost of burying the victims of the rampage in Santa Fe. The Houston Texans confirmed that.

Last Friday, a 17-year-old shot ten people and injured ten others at a high school in Santa Fe. Two of the injured are in mortal danger according to the hospitals treating them.

The 29-year-old commented on the events via Twitter with the words “absolutely greyish”.

Watt’s noble gesture is not the first: In August 2017, the Defensive End initiated a gigantic fundraising campaign for the flood victims of Hurricane Harvey, which raised 37 million US dollars.
