Now it’s official: Draft 2019 will take place in Nashville, Tennessee. This was decided at a Spring League meeting in Atlanta on Wednesday.

“I am so happy for the city,” said Titan owner Amy Adams Strunk at a press conference. “As we all know, Nashville enjoys a great reputation as a city that enjoys the big stage and the big party. We look forward to April next year!”

In the last four years the location of the Drafts has changed constantly. Following Chicago 2016, Philadelphia 2017 and Dallas last month, the application of the Tennessee Titans has now been approved. The applications from the cities of Las Vegas and Denver are in the lurch.

“After an exciting and successful event in Dallas this year, we are extremely excited that the draft will take place next year in Nashville,” said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. “The city has a passionate fan base and has so much to offer for a unique draft.”
