NBA: Hill about LeBron: “I hated him”

Cavaliers-Guard George Hill has praised LeBron James after his fabulous performance against the Celtics in game 6. He used to hate playing against the King, so he is now twice as happy to have him by his side.

“I’ve been in the league for a few years and had to play him a lot – and I hated him,” Hill said after the game. He was alluding to his time with the Indiana Pacers, who were often kicked out of the playoffs due to LeBron James’ performances – then with the Miami Heat.

“Knowing him on our side now just lets me breathe deeply,” Hill continued. “You can’t really explain what he does night after night. It’s very special.”

LeBron recently kept his team alive by scoring 46 points against the Celtics in Elimination Game 6, forcing them to play 7 in the Eastern Finals. This rises on Monday night at 2.30 a.m. at TD Garden Boston.
