MLB: Minor Leaguer Eric Jenkins creates potential Catch of the Year

Minor-League player Eric Jenkins of the Texas Rangers managed a spectacular catch this weekend. In the game of his Down East Wood Ducks, he caught a full sprint ball in Foul Territory, tripped over the wall and landed perfectly on both feet.

Jenkins may have won the Catch of the Year against Frederick Keys in the Carolina League (Single-A).

There was no TV broadcast of the game, but the local sports reporter Alex Walker recorded the game with his mobile phone and posted it on Twitter.

This season the Jenkins beats .250/.301/.338, so his defense is the main attraction.
