NBA: When will the 2018 finals start?

LeBron James has reached the NBA Finals with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the fourth time in a row. Here you can find out everything about the schedule of the finals, the possible matchups and where you can follow the matches live.

Cavs and LeBron James have eliminated Boston Celtics in seven games in the Eastern Conference Finals, making the next final entry perfect. For James, who has reached the finals four times in a row with Miami, this is the eighth consecutive finals. He has already won three titles in his career.

Who his team will meet will not be decided until next night. In the Western Conference, the best-of-seven series between the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors also covers the full distance. The winner of Game 7 (3 o’clock live on DAZN) will enter the finals.

If this were the Warriors – the reigning champion – it would be Cavaliers vs. Warriors in the finals for the fourth time in a row.

The NBA Finals 2018 will start on June 1st at 3am German time. It is already clear that the Western Conference representative will have a home advantage, as both the Rockets and Warriors have the better regular season record than the Cavaliers.

Games will only be played if necessary

You can watch all matches of the NBA Finals live on DAZN – either in German or with original American commentary. During the regular season, the streaming provider also showed at least one game live each day.

Fans of the other US sports leagues NFL, MLB and NHL also get their money’s worth at DAZN. The subscription with the streaming provider costs 9.99 Euro per month, whereby the first month is even free. The subscription can be cancelled monthly.
