NBA: LeBron in Game 2: “I felt tired once”

LeBron James said after the defeat in game 2 against the Warriors and admitted that he felt something of fatigue. However, he stressed that this did not change his attitude to the game. Now he hopes for the home games.

When asked if LeBron James would lose his love of basketball due to such a defeat as that in game 1 or 2, he had a clear answer. “No way. Sure, it hurts to lose. It hurts when you give everything, sacrifice yourself, prepare yourself and still end up as a loser. But nothing in the world can take away my love of the game and my love of competition.”

For this is something for which he lives and on which he adjusts his body and his mentality every day. “Nothing stops me from working on being even better the next day.”

However, James admitted to feeling something of fatigue in this game. “They doubled me a couple times, which they didn’t really do in Game 1.” Then he handed the ball over and trusted his fellow players. James also revealed that the Warriors had attacked him more in the defense than before. That’s why he felt “once tired in the game.”

Despite the 2-0 deficit, James appealed to his team not to let their heads hang. “We now have the opportunity to come home and play. We’ve already shown some good games in Cleveland.” This must be continued without expecting it to become a sure-fire success for them in the Quicken Loans Arena.

His reddened and bloody eye did not influence James. “That won’t stop me from playing. It’s gotten better already. The only thing my daughter likes is what I look like.” He had got a finger in the eye of Draymond Green in Game 1 when he tried to block James.
