NBA: DeAndre Jordan apparently wants to switch to the Houston Rockets

DeAndre Jordan has a player option at the Los Angeles Clippers for next season. According to media reports, the center does not want to pull them and join the Houston Rockets instead.

According to a report from USA Sports Today, Jordan has already informed several Rockets players that he is dissatisfied with the Clippers and is looking for a change in the summer – preferably to his hometown of Houston.

At the Rockets, Clint Capela becomes Restricted Free Agent this summer, but owner Tilman Fertitta has repeatedly announced that he will go along with every offer. Jordan would only become interesting in the unlikely event that the Rockets let Capela go.

Jordan currently earns the Clippers around $22.6 million a year, and if he pulls the player option next year it would be as much as $24.1 million. Last season Jordan played 12 points, 15 rebounds and one block per game for the Clippers.
