Boxing: Tyson Fury wins comeback by giving up his opponent

Tyson Fury has won his comeback after a 924-day ring break. The Englishman beat Sefer Seferi in the Manchester Arena because he gave up after the fourth round.

The fight had been expected for a long time, but it was never convincing in terms of sport. From the beginning, both fighters looked at each other more than they were attacking. Fury always had a smile on his face and did little to send the much smaller Seferi onto the boards.

Nevertheless, Fury scored one or two goals, so that the Swiss retired from the fight after a brief consultation with his team. An end that the audience didn’t like at all and that led to some whistles. For Fury, it was the 26th victory in the 26th professional fight.

A scandal occurred during the second round. In the crowd there was a melee, even bottles flew into the ring when the fight was over.
