MLB: Beltre overtakes Ichiro for historical brand

Adrian Beltre has replaced Ichiro Suzuki as the foreign player with the most hits in the history of MLB. The Texas Rangers Third Baseman reached this milestone against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday.

In the fourth inning, Beltre beat a double into Center Field against Dodgers starter Kenta Maeda, which was his 3090th hit.

Beltre is playing his 21st season in the MLB and is one of only two players with 3000 hits, the other is Albert Pujols (3030), who is active for the Los Angeles Angels and only this season broke through the 3000 mark.

Beltre now ranks 22nd in the All-Time-Hits-List. This season, he beats .319 with two home runs and 17 RBI in 39 games.
