MLB: Yankees four times in the LIVESTREAM FOR FREE

The New York Yankees are the best known and most successful franchise in Major League Baseball. In July and August SPOX will therefore be showing four games of the “Bronx Bombers” at the LIVESTREAM FOR FREE. Here you can find all information about the team and the transmissions.

The New York Yankees are clearly on a playoff course for the 2018 season and are currently battling with the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros for the American League’s best record, which would give them the right to home in the playoffs.

Fans of the Yankees in Germany, Austria and Switzerland can look forward to four games of the “Bronx Bombers” at LIVESTREAM FOR FREE in July and August.

Furthermore, DAZN, the streaming portal of the Perform Group, shows numerous other selected MLB games live and on-demand every night. A detailed overview of all transfers of MLB to DAZN and SPOX can be found here.

The outfielders Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, Catcher Gary Sanchez and pitcher Luis Severino and Aroldis Chapman stand out in the current New York Yankee team.

Judge hit 52 home runs last year in his rookie season and was voted the best newcomer to the American League. Stanton, on the other hand, was the National League’s most valuable player (MVP) with 59 home runs and subsequently came to New York by trade from the Miami Marlins.

Sanchez is probably the best offensive catcher of the MLB, but has some teething problems this season after leading the MLB wrestlers with 32 home runs and being voted into the All-Star team for the first time.

Severino and Chapman, on the other hand, are characterized primarily by their fast pitches. Severino is Starting Pitcher and the Ace of the Yankees. Last year he made the big breakthrough in MLB. Chapman, on the other hand, is the closer who usually throws his fastball at over 100 miles per hour – similar to Severino – and can hardly be overcome.

The Yankees are distinguished above all by three distinguishing features: The pinstripes on their jerseys, the famous interlocking NY logo and the fact that no American sports team is more successful than they are.

The New York Yankees have won the World Series 27 times, most recently in 2009, and 40 times in the World Series, the MLB playoff final series. You are the record champion of the MLB and the American League.

Also remarkable is the high number of “Retired Numbers”, i.e. jersey numbers that were taken out of circulation in honour of great stars. Especially number 3 plays a big role, as it is the number of baseball legend Babe Ruth, who once beat more home runs than any other team in the league.

) Number 42 has not been awarded league-wide since 1997 in honour of the first African American in baseball, Jackie Robinson of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
