NBA: MVP! Harden awarded as most valuable player

James Harden of the Houston Rockets have been awarded MVP for the 2017/18 NBA season. The superstar beat LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Harden received the Most Valuable Player award at the 2018 NBA Award Show in Santa Monica. Together with Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans) and LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers) he had made it into the last three candidates.

Also thanks to his 30.4 points and 8.8 assists per game, “The Beard” prevailed against the prominent competition. With his Rockets, he had achieved a season record of 65 victories and 17 defeats. This was the best yield of the league.

In the 2018 playoffs, the Texans made it to the Conference Finals, where they were defeated in seven games by the Golden State Warriors – who later became champions.
