MLB: Body found in stadium refrigerator

Shock in the SunTrust Park of the Atlanta Braves: On Tuesday a corpse was found in a walk-in beer refrigerator of the Ballpark in Cobb County. The circumstances are still unknown.

A Cobb County police spokeswoman told reporters that the investigation is ongoing. “This is still an active investigation, so I am not in a position to speculate whether a crime is a factor here or not,” said Officer Sarah O’Hara.

The body is an external service provider and there is no indication that it has any connection to the team, O’Hara continued.

The body was found by another worker. Nevertheless, the home game against the Cincinnati Reds (5:3 Cincy) took place as planned in the evening.

Meanwhile, O’Hara assured that the Braves are supporting the investigation.
