NBA: Mavs trio facing an unclear future

The Dallas Mavericks have presented Yogi Ferrell, Salah Mejri and Doug McDermott Qualifying Offers. This makes the three players Restricted Free Agents.

That reports Dallas News. By offering the three players who are still playing in their rookie contracts, they automatically become restricted free agents – unless they accept the offer. Then in summer 2019 they will become Unrestricted Free Agents.

They may consider this until Sunday (start of the Free Agency). What their future will look like is still in the stars, because it is doubtful that the Mavericks are interested in matching the offers of other teams in all three cases.

Point Guard Ferrell played 10.2 points and 2.5 assists last season, winger McDermott scored 9 points in the Mavs jersey and 49.4 per cent from the triple line, Center Mejri put on 3.5 points and 4.0 rebounds.
