NBA: Paul signs Max contract with the Rockets

Point guard Chris Paul will probably stay in Houston and sign a maximum contract with the Rockets. This was reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

According to the insider’s report, CP3 signs a four-year contract for a maximum salary of 160 million dollars.

The All-Star also confirmed this unofficially via Twitter. There he posted a picture of himself in Rockets-Jersey and wrote: “Undone business…I’ll stay here”.

Last season Paul played 18.6 points and 7.9 assists per game for the Rockets and led the Texans alongside MVP James Harden into the Western Conference Finals.

This deal is not official yet, as players and the franchise may only agree orally until the end of the moratorium on July 7.
