Tour de France: Watch the 3rd stage live on TV, live stream and live ticker today

On the third day of the Tour de France a team time trial is due. After two sprint stages with mass arrivals there will probably be larger distances on the front places after the third stage. SPOX gives you the track profile information and which channels you can use to follow the race.

For the favourites, who lost time on the first stage, the aim of the stage is also to narrow the gap to the competition a little.

The 3rd stage of the Tour de France is a team time trial. The route is a 35.5-kilometre circuit through the city of Cholet.

The profile is relatively flat with some smaller climbs. The intermediate times are taken at kilometres 13 and 26.5.

The first team will start at 3:10 pm, the last team will finish at 5:34 pm.

Both ARD and Eurosport 1 will broadcast all stages of the Tour France live on free TV. The first one, however, always starts in the middle of the stage. The first kilometres are shown by the sister station One.

Both ARD and Eurosport also provide their broadcasts as free live streams.

SPOX also offers a live ticker for all stages. Click here for the ticker for stage 3.

On the first stage there was the first shock moment. Chris Froome, Richie Porte and other favourites crashed just before the end and lost 51 seconds to the main field. The victory was secured by shooting star Fernando Gaviria during his first tour participation.

The second stage was overshadowed by a mass crash of the main field 1.8 kilometres before the finish. The decision in the sprint was won by Peter Sagan, who also won the yellow jersey. Best German was Andre Greipel in fourth place – Marcel Kittel could not intervene in the sprint seven kilometres before the end due to a defect.

As always, there are 21 sections of the Tour de France. More information about the stages can be found here.
