Tour de France: The 4th stage today live on TV, live stream and live ticker

The Tour de France enters stage 4 today. SPOX gives you the track profile information and which channels you can use to follow the race.

On today’s route, one of the longest beaches in Europe lies in the bay of La Baule.

In front of the drivers are 195 kilometres through Brittany from La Baule to Sarzeau.

The track is very hilly. The waves are not very high, but rather steep and therefore demanding for the riders.

This year, the Tour de France can be seen on free TV on two channels. Both ARD and Eurosport 1 will show the races live. However, the first one only broadcasts the races from about halfway, the first kilometres are shown by the sister channel One.

In addition to classic TV broadcasts, Eurosport, ARD and One also offer a live stream.

If you can’t see the race live today, keep up to date with SPOX. There is a live ticker for each stage. Click here for the ticker of stage 4.

On the first stage there was the first shock moment. Chris Froome, Richie Porte and other favourites crashed just before the end and lost 51 seconds to the main field. The victory was secured by shooting star Fernando Gaviria during his first tour participation.

The second stage was overshadowed by a mass crash of the main field 1.8 kilometres before the finish. Peter Sagan, who also won the yellow jersey, won the finish sprint. Best German was Andre Greipel in fourth place – Marcel Kittel could not intervene in the sprint seven kilometres before the end due to a defect.

The third stage followed with the 35.5 kilometre team time trial in Cholet. This was won by BMC around the Belgian Greg van Avermaet. This was followed by the Sky team and Quick-Step Floors. The Briton Chris Froome was booed by the spectators again after the asthma drug affair, but still reached the second place with his team.

As always, there are 21 sections of the Tour de France. More information about the stages can be found here.
