NBA: Two more players must be holding Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs have held Davis Bertan and Bryn Forbes according to media reports. Both players were an important part of coach Gregg Popovich’s rotation last season.

As Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reported, Bertans has agreed to the Spurs’ offer. The Latvian is expected to earn a total of 14.5 million dollars over the next two years.

Shooting Guard Bryn Forbes will also stay on the Alamo River for another two years, according to Charania. It is not yet known for which withdrawals the Restricted Free Agent will sign.

Bertans played 77 games for the Texans last season, in which he played 5.9 points and 2 rebounds in 14.1 minutes. Forbes even scored three times more, averaging 6.9 points.
