The Oklahoma City Thunder have won a close game against Orlando thanks to two-way player Deonte Burton. The Guard meets the game winner with the buzzer. The Dallas Mavericks, on the other hand, celebrate a conciliatory conclusion in Las Vegas.
Points: C.J. Wilcox (22) – Tyler Davis (19)
Rebounds: Alize Johnson (10) – Trevor Thompson (9)
Assists: Tra-Deon Hollins (9) – Jordan McLaughlin (4)
T.J. Leaf and first-round pick Aaron Holiday were spared by the Pacers and yet Indiana delivered probably the best performance of the tournament. The Nets had no chance, as Guard C.J. Wilcox in particular was unstoppable with 22 points (6/8 trio). Alize Johnson, who scratched a double-double with 9 points and 10 rebounds, also made a good impression.
Brooklyn, on the other hand, were unable to achieve any success in his last game and did without Jarrett Allen, Caris LaVert and first-round pick Dzanan Musa. In her absence, Center Tyler Davis was the best player with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Five-man backup Trevor Thompson (11, 9 boards) just missed the double-double.
Points: Garlon Green (23) – Daniel Ochefu (22)
Rebounds: Derek Willis (6) – Mitchell Robinson (12)
Assists: Walter Lemon Jr. (7) – Tyrius Walker (6)
The Knicks also released Frank Ntilikina and No.9 pick Kevin Knox in the last game, but Mitchell Robinson was allowed to pick two rounds for almost 20 minutes. The center made ideal use of this time and scored 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. Point Guard Tyrius Walker also took his chance in the absence of Allonzo Trier, scoring 16 points, 6 assists and 5 steals.
At the Pels, however, Garlon Green, the brother of Rockets player Gerald, attracted attention with 23 points (8/9 FG). Point Guard Walter Lemon Jr. (8) played 7 assists, but also lost 5 balls.
