After nine stages and 1564 kilometres, today is the rest day of the 2018 Tour de France, and today is the first day for the riders to take a break.
In the ninth stage John Degenkolb clinched his first German victory in this year’s Tour de France. On the dreaded cobblestone course from Arras to Roubaix the German convinced with a dramatic final sprint.
Now the drivers can relax: Monday is a rest day at the Tour de France.
Tomorrow the Tour de France will start into its tenth stage. From Annecy we go to Le Grand Bornand. The drivers cover 159 kilometres. From 13.05 One will broadcast the start of the stage. From 1.35 pm Eurosport shows the race. Das Erste will broadcast the final spurt at 4:05 pm.
