NFL: Brandin Cook signs five-year contract with L.A. Rams

The Los Angeles Rams have signed a new five-year contract with Wide Receiver Brandin Cooks. The franchise reports this on its website.

This means that Cooks is under contract in the City of Angels up to and including the 2023 season. Nothing is yet known about contract details.

“Brandin Cook has been a role model on and off the pitch since his first day on the team,” said Ram’s head coach Sean McVay in a statement. “He’s a seasoned player in this league and it’s always been our goal to keep him in the long run. “We expect Brandin to play in ram’s uniform until 2023 inclusive.”

The Rams had traded their 2018 First-Round Pick (No. 23) and their Sixth-Round Pick (No. 198) to the New England Patriots for cooks and a Fourth-Round Pick (No. 136) in this offseason.
