NBA: Antonio Brown on the cover of ‘Madden NFL 19’

Antonio Brown will be on the cover of’Madden NFL 19′ next season. This was confirmed by EA Sports on Wednesday.

“It is a great honour for me to be part of something so special,” the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver told Bleacher Report. “It is also an honor to represent the Steelers Nation, one of the largest organizations of the NFL. Being the only player in franchise history to be alone on the cover makes me extremely happy and proud.”

Until now, Troy Polamalu was the Steelers’ only player to make it onto the cover. At Madden 10, however, he had to share the spot with Arizona’s Larry Fitzgerald. Brown follows Tom Brady, to whom the honour of the cover athlete was bestowed this year.

In addition to the normal version of’NFL Madden’ there is also a’Hall-of-Fame-Edition’ this year. On this you will see the face of one of the best Wide Receiver of all times: Terrell Owens. For Brown it is something special “to share this moment with T.O.. He inspired me to play football at this high level.”
