NBA: Schröder-Trade? Hawks searching for weeks

According to media reports, the Atlanta Hawks have been looking for a trade partner for Dennis Schröder for weeks. Especially since Jeremy Lin’s arrival, the German seems to be on the siding.

This is reported by the Atlanta Journal Constitution. According to this, General Manager Travis Schlenk has been looking for a trade that involves Dennis Schröder for weeks. So far, however, he has not been able to find an interested team.

Especially since last week’s Hawks trade that brought Jeremy Lin to Atlanta, Schröder is said to be on the siding. According to the report, this is not primarily about sport, but about Schröder not being considered a leader for the young point guards like Trae Young.

Schröder’s contract runs until 2021 and earns him 15.5 million dollars a year. The past season was his fifth in the NBA. He put on 19.4 points and 6.2 assists.
