NBA: Media: Ferrell withdraws Mavs commitment

Actually, it seemed decided that Yogi Ferrell would sign a new contract with the Dallas Mavericks. Now he seems to be backing down.

This is reported by Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports. Cervando Tejeda, Agent Ferrell’s, said: “We are uncomfortable with the deal and want to weigh our options further.”

Ferrell is still Unrestricted Free Agent. A few days ago it had been reported that he had signed a new contract with the Mavericks after the Texans withdrew their qualifying offer to him.

Ferrell has been playing for the Mavs since 2016. Last season, the 25-year-old played 10.2 points and 2.5 assists.
