NBA: Knicks sign former Lottery Pick

The New York Knicks have signed Power Forward Noah Vonleh. This has since been officially confirmed by the Knicks.

According to Ian Begley of ESPN, the contract is for one year and only part of the salary is guaranteed. The 22-year-old played for the Portland Trail Blazers and the Chicago Bulls last season, averaging 4.9 points and 5.8 rebounds in around 16 minutes.

Vonleh was picked by the blazers at No.9 in 2014, but never really made it into Oregon. In New York, Vonleh will once again have the chance of a minute of rotation in the front court, especially as franchise player Kristaps Porzingis will miss much of the coming season with a torn cruciate ligament.

With the signing of Vonleh, the Knicks now have 16 players and two two-way players under contract. Until the start of the Regular Season the Knicks have to dismiss one player in order not to exceed the limit of 15 players.
