WWE: Meadow: WWE? “The Americans were afraid of me.”

Tim Wiese criticized the wrestling federation WWE in an interview with Sport1. He had only been fooling about Meuse’s future.

After the fight in Munich in 2016, which Wiese enjoyed very much and for which he had received much positive feedback, the negotiations with WWE had continued for his future. He had always stressed that he did not want to move to the USA, since his family center was in Bremen.

Nevertheless, WWE wanted him to come to Orlando and receive further training. Therefore “my management and I have contacted WWE several times – verbally and in writing – what I mean by’Tim, come to the USA and let you train for the next few years’. I’ve never received an official and honest answer. Always just this fussing,” Wiese said in the interview.

And: “The head of Europe had nothing to report, was more of a vicarious agent of the Americans. And the Americans were afraid of me. There’s no other way to explain it. I think they realized that I’m not a little boy to boss around and leave everything standing and lying for a career at WWE.” That is why no agreement was reached in the end.

However, Wiese’s departure from wrestling had nothing to do with a possibly low WWE content: “Wrestling is pure commerce. There is little difference between wrestling and football, except that they have to reckon with fewer zeros in wrestling. And I didn’t just show up just for fun, either. Money is no motivation for me. Either I want something 100 percent or I don’t. But if I feel like it, I’m not worth less.”
