NBA: Hawks say goodbye Schröder – Trade official

In a statement the Atlanta Hawks thanked Dennis Schröder for his time with the franchise. This makes his trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder official.

“I would like to thank Mike[Muscala] and Dennis for their commitment to our team over the last five years. Both players have worked extremely hard to improve their careers in Atlanta. Both had a special connection to our fans – and we wish them only the best for the future”, GM Travis Schlenk is quoted in a statement.

Dennis Schröder had been traded from the Hawks to the OKC Thunder in a three-team trade last week. The Hawks got Carmelo Anthony, among others, but he is being guarded.
