The Cleveland Browns have not collected more than one victory in the last two seasons. After an eventful off-season, newcomer Jarvis Landry believes the team is now ready for the Super Bowl and can score 40 points per game.
“You’ll be lucky if we don’t score 40 points against you,” said a euphoric Jarvis Landry at the Cleveland Browns Training Camp. “I think we have the potential to win the Super Bowl.”
A bold statement given that the Cleveland Browns have only won one of the 32 league games in the past two seasons. However, the front office launched an action offensive for the new season, which saw numerous playmakers coming to Ohio.
Among other things, the Browns signed Landry via Trade with the Miami Dolphins. Tyrod Taylor came from the Buffalo Bills and Carlos Hyde in the Free Agency. And with the first pick in the draft, the franchise chose quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Despite the personnel changes, reaching the playoffs would be a surprise for the Browns, who finally want to make a year-long sporting downswing. Participation in the Super Bowl was a sensation.
