The Los Angeles Clippers want to play for the playoffs in the West again next season. Patrick Beverley even sees his team as the best team from Los Angeles, even ahead of the Lakers around LeBron James.
“I can tell you we’re the best team in LA,” Beverley told Tomer Azarly of clutch points. “Our team is well assembled and really deep,” continued the Point Guard.
“We’ll work hard every night, do our best and reach the playoffs,” Beverley said. Since 2011/2012, the Clippers have always ended the season with a better record than their city rivals, who, as is well known, have been busy arming themselves with LeBron James’ commitment. Furthermore, Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson, Michael Beasley and JaVale McGee are now wearing the Jersey of the Lakers.
Beverley missed most of last season for a knee injury but was optimistic about a comeback. “I’m ready, and that’s not just talk. “I’m fit as I’ve never been in my career, and people will see soon.”
The playmaker played 11 games for the Clippers last season, in which he played 12.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
