NBA: No Kobe comeback in the BIG3

Is Kobe Bryant making a comeback in the BIG3, the founded league of Ice Cube? The second founder of the league, Jeff Kwatinetz, spread these rumours, but the management of the Black Mamba quickly wiped it off the table.

“I heard from a credible source that Kobe wants to play next year,” Kwatinetz said in a conference call without giving a guarantee. “That’s something, but it doesn’t have to mean anything.”

So in the BIG3 there was hope that Bryant would be in the young league next season. Lastly, there were rumours that Kobe would return from his retirement and reappear alongside LeBron James for the Lakers. Cobes’ wife Vanessa said that Kobe did not want to play any more.

After the rumours spread by Kwatinetz, Molly Carter, the head marketer of Kobe Inc., also spoke up and guaranteed that Bryant would never play next year.

Bryant ended his career in April 2016 after 20 years with the Lakers. In their last game against Utah Jazz, the Black Mamba scored an incredible 60 points.
