NBA: Harden: “Melo still has a lot in the tank”

James Harden of the Houston Rockets has again expressed himself positively about Carmelo Anthony and believes that the interaction with the Forward will work well. According to the MVP, it will be easy to integrate the ex-OKC player.

“I was MVP last season and now we also got Carmelo Anthony. It’ll be very easy,” Harden said in an interview with the Player’s Tribune. “His integration will be easy. If you have so many talented and intelligent players who also like to communicate, then the work is easy.”

Anthony signed for a year and $2.4 million in Houston in the summer, after the ten-time all-star had played for Oklahoma City Thunder in the previous season.

Harden is definitely a big fan of this acquisition. “Everyone knows what Melo can do, how talented he is. He’s got a lot left in his tank, and we’re gonna get the best out of him.” Harden also found that the Rockets are not appreciated enough. This is similar to last year, when there was a lot to see if Harden and Chris Paul could work together in the backcourt.
