NBA: Trade! Rockets send Anderson to the Suns

The Houston Rockets have been looking for a buyer for Ryan Anderson for some time, now they have found it according to ESPN: The power forward is apparently being traded to the Phoenix Suns.

Anderson, who will still earn 41 million dollars in the next two years, is going to Arizona together with Rookie De’Anthony Melton. In return, Marquese Chriss and Brandon Knight will strengthen the best team of the last Regular Season.

Chriss was the No.8-Pick 2016, but so far the Big Man could not meet the high expectations in Phoenix. Knight still earns $30 million over the next two years, but last season he was unable to play due to a torn cruciate ligament.

Knight should be healthy again and serve as a backup for Chris Paul and James Harden at the Rockets. The Suns in turn will give Sophomore Shaq Harrison a slightly bigger role, but according to the report they will continue to look for a potential starter on the one.

Anderson, on the other hand, will probably be the designated starter on the four and will spread the game for Devin Booker and No.1 pick Deandre Ayton. Last season he averaged 9.3 points for the Rockets.
