NFL: Bears probably release Hamburger Edebali

The Chicago Bears must have fired Kasim Edebali. The German Outside Linebacker apparently fell victim to the roster deadline.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the Bears have informed the Hamburg native that they will end the cooperation. The franchise has not yet been officially confirmed.

Edebali signed a contract with Chicago last summer and played four games in the preseason.

Due to the strong competition and the alleged trade for Khalil Mack, the former Defensive Player of the Year, the Bears apparently have no more use for Edebali.

The NFL teams must reduce their squad to 53 players by Saturday at 22 pm.
