Basketball: Dennis Schröder praises strong DBB team

NBA professional Dennis Schröder of the Oklahoma City Thunder has exclusively praised the German national team before the upcoming Supercup.

“We have taken a big step forward in the last two or three years,” said Schröder before the duel against Turkey on Friday. When all the players are on board, the DBB team is “one of the strongest national teams we have ever had” for Schröder.

Schröder was generally satisfied with his personal development: “It has paid off that I have worked so much in recent years. In any case, Schröder wants to play in a successful qualification for the World Cup.

Schröder will be supported by Maximilian Kleber of the Dallas Mavericks, among others, in the Supercup and the subsequent World Cup qualifiers against Estonia and Israel. Daniel Theis (Boston Celtics), Moritz Wagner, Isaac Bonga (both Los Angeles Lakers) and Isaiah Hartenstein (Houston Rockets) will not be present.
