NBA: Warriors get another wing into camp

The Golden State Warriors still have vacancies in their squad. According to media reports, wing player Alfonzo McKinnie can apply for one of the free roster spots with the champion in the training camp.

That reports Anthony Slater of The Athletic. So the former forward of the Toronto Raptors has received an invitation to the Dubs’ camp.

At the moment the Warriors have twelve players under contract, plus three working papers (Danuel House, Kendrick Nunn, Marcus Derrickson) that are only partially guaranteed.

McKinnie spent most of his time in the G-League last season, playing only 53 minutes for the Raptors. The 24-year-old is still quite raw, but has the potential to become a solid 3-and-D player. In 2015 McKinnie signed up for the draft but was not drawn by any team.
