NFL: Patriots: Gronk must have resisted Trade

During the offseason, the New England Patriots are said to have specifically dealt with a trade by Rob Gronkowski. This is reported by several US media. However, the tight end is said to have clearly resisted a possible change.

He told the Patriots that he would rather end his career than run up for another franchise, coach or quarterback.

Gronkowski is said to have even told people close to him that he only wants to catch Tom Brady’s passports.

The past season was difficult for Gronk. After the lost Super Bowl, he is said to have thought about resigning.

Only after a meeting with coach Bill Belichick and his long-standing agent Drew Rosenhaus did the parties agree on a revised contract.
