Ice Hockey: Overview of the DEL start

The new DEL season starts on Friday, 14 September with the new edition of last year’s final pairing between Eisbären Berlin and EHC Red Bull Munich. SPOX gives you an overview what else you can learn about the new season of the German Ice Hockey League.

All other teams will also start the season on Friday evening.

The new edition of the final between Berlin and Munich will be broadcast by TV and media partner Telekom Deutschland and Sport1. The game starts at 7.30 pm.

All other DEL matches will also be broadcast live and in HD by Telekom. Sport1 usually shows an encounter on Sunday afternoon (5 pm). In total, the FreeTV channel continues to broadcast at least 40 DEL matches (main rounds and playoffs) per season.
