Alpine Skiing: men’s boss Puelacher von Hirscher impressed

Marcel Hirscher is currently back in snow training after a long summer break in the Pitztal. The distance seems to have done the 29-year-old good, at least the ÖSV men’s boss Andreas Puelacher is already raving about his protégé.

“It’s fabulous what he’s delivering. He’s at the limit and never retires. A precision that is unbelievable,” says Puelacher just over a month before the World Cup opener in Sölden.

So the competition is allowed to dress warmly, because the dominator of the Ski World Cup seems to be as strong as ever despite changes of a private nature – Hirscher got married and will be dad in the coming days. “Marcel will not change whether he is a young husband and becomes a young dad,” says Puelacher.
