MLB: Superstar celebrates comeback at victory

Aaron Judge is back! The New York Yankees Right Fielder made his comeback at the 3-2 win over Boston Red Sox on Tuesday at Yankee Stadium. However, he was not granted a hit.

As usual, Judge hit position two in the lineup and started in the right field. In the end, however, he had to make do with two fly outs into the right field, one double play and one strikeout (0-4). The Yankees nevertheless won, as Neil Walker decided the game in the eighth inning with a 3-Run-Homerun.

“I felt like I’d never been away. Everything felt good,” said Judge, who had been out of action for almost eight weeks. “I had the feeling that my at-bats were good. I saw the ball well.”

Manager Aaron Boone, on the other hand, wants to exercise caution with Judge: “We will take a close look and see how he feels tomorrow. “We’ll see that we leave him out here and there and watch from day to day.”

With the victory and defeat of Oakland Athletics against the Los Angeles Angels (7:9), the Yankees increased their wildcard lead to 2.5 games.
