Kawhi Leonard can become a free agent next summer. The forward, which was only traded from San Antonio to Toronto in July, is said to favour the Los Angeles Clippers in his upcoming Free Agency according to media reports.

This is reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Since the Clippers will have two slots for maximum contracts next summer, owner Steve Ballmer’s team has excellent cards in Leonard’s poker according to Woj.

The rumors that Jimmy Butler is said to have demanded a trade in Minnesota got new fertile ground. The Clippers will also be on his list of potential teams.

Leonard, who had only been traded from the Spurs to Toronto in July, is said to have long since flirted with an engagement in Los Angeles. So far, however, the Lakers have been the big favourite, but with the arrival of LeBron James this is said to have changed.
