NBA: Knight missing from the Rockets for an indefinite time

Just a few weeks ago, the Houston Rockets secured the services of Brandon Knight via trade. However, the injury-prone point guard had to be put under the knife again a few days ago and will be dropped out for the time being.

As Shams Charania of The Athletic reports, Knight was operated on his left knee again. This is said to have been a minor operation with the aim of cleaning the knee. How long the 26-year-old will be missing has not yet been determined.

Knight missed the entire past season due to a cruciate ligament rupture and switched from the Phoenix Suns to the Houston Rockets in August as part of a four-player trade to give depth to the backcourt.
