NBA: Butler trade at the beginning of the week? Heat are “aggressive”.

Jimmy Butler’s trade request continues to occupy the NBA landscape. According to Timberwolves owners, a transaction should take place in the coming days. In the meantime, even more interested parties have registered than originally assumed.

Butler has already been excused from Monday’s Media Day and Taylor has no interest in taking the subject into the season. According to ESPN, there have been few concrete offers so far, but some teams have already expressed interest: Among others the Nets, Pistons, Rockets, Clippers, Heat, Sixers, Trail Blazers and Kings are on Butler.

According to the report, the Heat have so far been “more aggressive” than any other team, team president Pat Riley has long been considered a fan of Butler and his oldschool mentality. However, it is unclear which players were offered.

Butler had originally presented a list of three teams (Nets, Knicks, Clippers) where he would extend his post-season contract, but apparently he is also interested in other situations. Teams like Miami will probably not be deterred from losing Butler after just one season.

According to Taylor’s wish, the four-time All-Star will be traded before the training starts on Tuesday. A decision is therefore to be expected soon.

There was also good news for the Wolves at the weekend. On Sunday, the franchise confirmed that Karl-Anthony Towns has extended his contract for five years. The Big Man is reported to make $190 million over this period.
