MLB: Despacito! Rookie sings in the team bus

Shohei Ohtani is known as a two-way player that can both beat and pitch. But apparently he can do even more – the Japanese can also sing to some extent!

Ohtani grabbed the microphone in the team bus on Monday and intoned the summer hit “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi feat. His teammates were absolutely thrilled – so enthusiastic that a video of it landed on the social media.

Later that day he hit another home run for the Angels against the Texas Rangers. The Angels finally won the game 5-4.

According to Statcast, with an exit velocity of 112.9 miles per hour, it was also his toughest home run of the year.
