NBA: Davis: “I’m the best player in the league”

During the Media Day Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans made a self-confident announcement to the competition. “In my eyes, I’m the best player in the league,” The Brow explained.

“I really think so, no one can tell me anything else,” Davis continued. A few days ago, the 25-year-old had already declared his intention to move to the Klutch Sports Group as a consultant by, among other things, taking the next step towards becoming the league’s most dominant player.

Despite the loss of DeMarcus Cousins, who moved to the Golden State Warriors in the off-season, Davis believes the Pelicans may be playing for the top places in the Western Conference.

“Every game is important, no matter what time of the season,” Davis explained. “You want to win every game. Of course the West has become deeper, but we as a team know what we are capable of and what we achieved last year”.

Davis averaged 28.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and 2.6 blocks last season. In the MVP voting The Brow landed on rank three.
